You may not have the money but as you share with the audience some of us maybe motivated to help. Donot do any renovations but save what you have to start buying land for your family. Can't you buy your own land there in Uganda and build a house for yourself ,no matter how modest. It's better to stay in your own home. Gives the unpredictable political situation in South Sudan, don't concentrate all your resources there. Have one foot in, one foot out just in case things deteriorate one way or the other
