Primal for sure. Being able to have those few ascendancy bonuses from other ascendancies that you normally have to trade off is going to be really nice. No more compromising. Imo the other 2 ascendancies aren't very interesting. Bit too jenk for me

Warden seems really strong, especially early. Later maybe primal if you get some of the OP charms but I assume they will be expensive and some of charm mods look very weak so it won't really be worth it.

One helm you missed is Aul's Helm, Crown of the Tyrant. It only has 1 socket as a downside, so you can lose 1 gem slot to get 50 all resist. Helm is very good for any elemental build with all the flat damage and -res it gives.

Theres also that heist specific unique helmet, but its pointless because it only has one socket but gives +7 gem levels.

you forgot the mention the real treat that goes with oath of the maji: The Untouched Soul Gold Amulet +40 to maximum Life for each Empty Red Socket on any Equipped Item +225 to Accuracy Rating for each Empty Green Socket on any Equipped Item +40 to maximum Mana for each Empty Blue Socket on any Equipped Item +18% to all Elemental Resistances for each Empty White Socket on any Equipped Item

To be honest I don't really see this being used much outside of life or mana stacking, the amulet slot is just too valuable with far too much competition

@@dreamcore_gg Oh im stacking ;) amulet is an important piece, but this will quickly cost 1 alch and give med somewhere between 360-520 baselife on my RF chief :) with 275 % inc life it adds up. going for 15 000 life on day 2.

this amu gonna be huge on grp mf pure mana guardians that can function on like 1-2 gem sockets because most auras are from the aura support anyways. with sockets on rings etc u can get up to 26-27 sockets or somehting.. thats ALOT of mana :3

I didn't originally think about the abysal uniques when I read that ascendency node, that's a very good point. I'll have to try that out during the league. I haven't gotten an excuse to use any of those uniques before other than the stygian vise, so it should be fun. That ascendency node could also make obtaining/using good corrupted gear really easy in SSF since we're not going to be caring about gem sockets.

It's been so long since I abyss jewel stacked. Probably delve. It's interesting that there might be some really solid reasons to try it this league esp with a two hander so you keep your 6 link. Issue will be I always already feel stressed for gems even without giving up between 3 and 7 of them

what about Crown of the Tyrant? Idk and cant test if this "You and Nearby Allies have 64 to 96 added Fire Damage per Red Socket" requires you to socket the gem or the existance of the socket is enough.

10% chance to avoid non-damaging ailment, that one is very interesting, on paper you only get almost immunity to either damaging ailment or non-damaging ones, but for boneshatter or other trauma attacks, you lose bark stacks by attacking, so you automatically got max chance to avoid shock, which will turn into elemental ailment immunity, then it's only poison and bleeding left, a bleed flask then a armour/evasion mastery you are fully immunte. Ofc there is a ramp up time, hydrosphere maybe.

My impression is that you'll gain the upsides of both modifiers as long as you actually don't have any charges, since you 'count as' having max charges(for the purpose of that mod) but you also have no chages(for the other mod). For what it's worth, I'm not convinced that Ralakesh's will do anything anymore outside of counting as having max charges - I don't think you'll gain the stats from the charges

This is quite difficult to build around. Yeah Kaom's items could be nice for this keystone, but if you want to build around life-stacking and use life for damage you'd rather want to play the Ascendancy that has Sanguimancy.

i can see a world where you get at least 2 of the mods especially if your main link is something like a multilink wep+ squire setup, with your auras in one item and utility/movement gems in another, leaving 2 slots open for the ascendancy, and you can also fit a hungry loop/unset ring to relieve more socket pressure

It seems like good leveling option you get 30% ms for free and res is not like we need more than 4 link + another 4 link for other skills like aura curse and movement skills. If you need socket to lvl up your gems just place it in 2nd weapon set or you can always buy most of needed gems at lvl 13 (corect me if im wrong) from vendor in act 1-4

My HoT autobomber will be absolutely insane as a league starter, it only need the 6 link HoT + 2 curses(generally in CWDT with curse one hit with wave of conviction or in Arcanist Brand) 1 blink skill and immortal call, Thats like the body armour and the weapon. It struglles to get enough HP but with the new amulet that gives HP for empty red socket it will be insane(if that amulet is cheap)

@@lolleonlolable In my case it is around 500 almost 600 with the life catalyst in the amulet. I have 12 not used sockets that I can all make it red. I might not even need to use a Corrupted Soul jewel and go only life with that much extra HP

Stoked about even just for leveling. I'm a very lazy leveler/league starter and I constantly forget to get all of the possible gems I need in the campaign, so it's pretty much guaranteed I'll have at least 2 of those active at all times. Sounds like you'll get your first ascendancy early too, so should be able to have it for most of the campaign.

The only thing i think of it. Is to use a two handed weapon and leave everything else empty socketed. Maybe the elemental resistance is not that necessary I would say. Do you think it's a coincidence this op buff for having no socketed gems coincides with them essentially releasing hundreds of new skill gems potentially making gem leveling extremely rewarding? It seems like the zoom zoom builds that usually farm gem levels will all be taking the 30% movement speed. PS: RF players are crying about the ''nerf''. Excuse me? 25% increased maximum life. Unless you were planning to play deadey rf or something you'll have more than enough life to break even.
