Applause and kudos to Regulo Carmona, from Venezuela, to be able to reach that level of competition in a country going through that is impressive.

Love your videos man! I am a rings specialist and love the work, art, time, strength it takes to be great! Had a few rough months where I had to take time focusing on school, myself, and on our aspects of my life. I hope to keep going and chasing the dreams, I had since I started gymnastics. I felt I fell off for awhile but I want to do something about it now. These videos remind me why I want to be a rings gymnast in the first place and why I work so hard every year to be something great for God and in gymnastics! Thanks for posting these videos man!

Hey man could I ask a bit of advice? Just trying to prep for a year before doing gymnastics. I am shooting for 100 ring dips and 40 ring pullups, 60 ring chin ups, double bodyweight squats, overhead presses of 1x bodyweight and lots of cardio. I was gonna start getting books with level 0-3 skills but I do lots of push ups and bridge push ups. I plank for 2 minutes with 15 lbs but am aiming for 5 minutes with 50. Do you have any suggestions for strength standards? THANK YOU

@@efisgpr what strength elements have you acquired? your dynamic exercise routine is good for strength training and also training for transitions. my suggestion is that for the still rings, the best thing is to use dynamic exercises with as massive a range of motion as you can have and relevant to the the strength elements and transitions that you have to do on official type of routine. try to in addition to the bent arm dynamic strengthening exercises do as much straight arm work as possible. also, instead of pull up and dip do full muscle up because that's a full rom dynamic for the shoulder girdle, and will train false grip strength and bent arm transition. and of course you need to do the isolateral bent arm work such as butterflies and invert butterflies, with pause on iron cross and invert cross to train those positions. there's a lot you have to do specific to build ring strength and ability, and specific training of relevant moves is best. if you want i can give you some more ideas.

@@efisgpr For me my advice is just start doing gymnastics and don't wait a year. The reason is, because at a gym you will have proper training and Coaches to help you push forward that desire to keep going and learn new skills while balancing basic like your form and air awareness. Starting with that training is good but you also how my other parts of gymnastics. Like flexibility and form. I will tell you this gymnastics is a hard sports take that years to master and lots of time. But it is worth it if you love it and work hard to wanting to achieve a goal. For Rings it is not all about strength and more like then not is mainly about balancing all the things I said before. Flexibility, air awareness, strength, flow of a swing, and fast body moment. As you can see from the video many high level rings athletes have all these things. So I say start getting into gymnastics then rather starting by yourself and trying to learn it yourself. The thing with gymnastics is you need a coach that has done and competed in gymnastics and watch videos to really understand how skills work and how he can mold you into a gymnast. Yeah but I love that you want to do it! There is no reason why you shouldn't!. Do it dude and keep me update of the process!!

The problem is that you skipped so many amazing athletes!! I will talk about Lefteris Petrunias who is in fact 7 times European Champion and 3 times World Champion! I believe he was worth at least a small mention in your video!

Victorian (with variants) remains the most insane skill)) Although there are rumors, that reversed butterfly to reversed cross is already done. Will we see it in competitions? Can't tell for sure..
