Everyone has probably wondered which static defence building is the strongest... well this your chance to find out. 900 minerals of static defence of each: protoss, terran and zerg, lined up to fight against all ground units. Find out which battles they win and which tower classifies as the strongest defence.
StarCraft 2 is a real-time strategy game created by Blizzard Entertainment.

While the majority of my predictions turned out reasonably accurate, I underestimated how good lings and zealots are at just overwhelming defenses. And with the Lurkers, I thought, "Oh, the cannons are the only ones that will win" and then the pylon died lol

Was expecting something like this, DTs tho, photons are superior even just because they are also detectors and can shoot both up and down. Easy win in most cases

Were the enemy units fully upgraded or 0/0. Same for the bunker marines. And did the photon cannons have any shield upgrades?

Only 2 errors on my opinion, So for terran and zerg need turret/spore crawler, and why ghosts didn't use cloak? And strange that marines in bunkers can't attack thors, seems wrong, or was spawned wrong unit/bunker without bonus range?

the Dark templar one is a bit unfair. The Terrans and Spine Crawlers dont have detection

LOL This is junk science. We're just supposed to ignore that Bunkers consistently were the first to kill their attackers, or were the last to go down? Their ability to dynamically exit bunkers to reach targets out of range? There is no question Terrans have the best static defences in the game

It's 300 per bunker...and that's IF marines are 3:3. Don't forget they are larger, therefore requiring more space to place, and takes the longest to build because of marine build time. PROTOSS has the best static defense in the game by far. Having a shield battery that gives 4 scvs worth of repairing to shields really helps.

Considering they cost 6 supply, they are pretty shit. And spines can wander arouns whereever the fuck they want as well.

@@rwarrr7393 Protoss can upgrade shields and put batteries in back, but following that rule bunkers can be repaired and get +2 armor upgrade and spines can get healed by queens, but bunkers still remains as the best defense

@@maca9095bunkers are the strongest defense while cannons are the best, let me explain. Bunker has the raw strength, if you want to survive an all in, or lock down an area having a bunker can be a life saver, although it needing infintry to man it is both an advantage and a disadvantage, as in order to keep your mineral line safe from lets say zerglings you need to have 4 suply busy sitting there doing nothing, and even that often is not enough as the enemy can always just get banelings For protos tho you don't need any supply, you can always just spend the extra minerals on a few cannons, you don't waste suply, they are detectors, and can easily keep you safe, and in those large late game fights they can block the enemy, deal good dm and tank really nicely too, overall being a cost effective unit during that fight. Of curse all defenses have their strengths and weaknesses but cannon is just more universal Wich shows as in most mid game/late game pro player games we can see them getting cannons, while bunker is used in a very specific scenarios

Bunker will need to be better cos u need put 12 solders in it. Come on, ur army max supply is 200, u gonna waste 12 out of 200 supply to defend the 3 bunker. U can build thousand of spine crawler and photo cannon, but u cant build the same amt of marines with bunkers even if ur mineral is unlimited.

Lurkers should be a win for the bunker, they wouldn't be able to kill the marines

Different scenarios give different advantages to certain defenses. You have to consider build time, location, shape of defense, and enemy composition. For example, if the enemy targets the pylon, all of the cannons wouldve been rendered useless. That weakness has to be supplemented with more pylons or a battery which costs more resource.
