I did differently. 3 square towers, 3 ballistas on the top, after the trees are cut, placed a cow farm, for leather armor making. Bought the food , didn’t produce it and had like 15-18 flatchery for crossbow making. Once you run out of wood, u can keep buying it, u get out more gold then u invest in it, so this is a no resource based income. Oh, and I made a labyrinth-like path for enemy to come in my castle and threw fire on the path from a tall tower with 5 fire throwers, whose I covered with shields. This way the enemy rarely attacked my towers with catapults from a distance, they just started to construct them in front of the towers, so after 10-15 minutes I spent no rock on rebuilding and repairing… took me 3-4 hours to beat them. The last 4 enemy I killed only with horse archers…

The hardest mission in the game, perfectly played!

For most people it is the hardest mission in the game. I don't find it to be particularly hard in terms of dealing with constant attacks and catapults as in Thunder Hill or Misty River. The main problem with this mission is the economy, it takes forever to develop and gain gold/units to start attacking! Also, I don't know if I'm the only one but this Wolf is really hard to beat!
