Your strategy was very very very impressive! Removing the wolf first was an excelent idea. I remember when u first played thiis mission i dag in my digging moats and putting towers with defenses and waited till i got army ready and it was hard. Thanks to you i can now improve my strategy more.

Interest strategy with the early rush, i usually build up my defenses first then slowly generate a massive army for an assault, but then I have to deal with a fortified castle. I guess im just not as quick as you! I also do the same thing with my mangonels. ill put a few towers close to an enemy castle and have them constantly fire at it. best strategy ever as it completely suppresses the enemy and paves the way for you to finish him with just a few units. Good job mate!

I find Saladin and Wolf to be the hardest warlords to take on. They both can fight in pretty much every terrain in this game. And they, too, are good at economies in this game, especilaly Saladin who can survive, even in a desert with less resources. For Wolf, he can not be taken out with sheer number alone thanks to his castle defense. For Saladin, his soldiers fight well for him thanks to the Good Things he puts on his castle. Frederick, Phillips, Abbot, and Nizar fight better on lower ground. Once they are placed on higher ground, their defense are relatively easy to penetrate (especially Nizar's). Pig, Richard, Wazir, and Sheriff have formidable defense, but: Pig only has Macemen defending him, though he has Crossbowmen for his defense. Richard does not have Crossbowmen in his defense, making it easy to take down the Archers and his siege equipment defense, but he does have Swordsmen and Pikemen for his defense. Wazir, like Wolf and Caliph, has fire for his defense, but it can be taken care of with Horse Archers or Fire Ballista from afar. Sheriff is practically Pig, but with Bad Things. Like Wolf, he also uses Arabian Soldiers occassionally. And he, too, only has Macemen for melee defense. Wazir and Sheriff also have weaker troops thanks to the Bad Things in their castle. I'm not going to comment about Rat, Snake, Caliph, and Sultan. We all know how easy they are to take on. And I couldn't comment about Marshall since I rarely fight him.

Caliph is not that easy.His castle cannot be conquered without catapults.I remember I have sent him 150 soldiers to attack him(swordsmen,macemen,pikemen) and I didn't even destroy a turret because he burned them all.

its a first campaign in stronghold 1.2, the second campaign is about 30 maps or so... if by any chance u came across those.... i hope u play it and care to share it again in u tube....i enjoy watching ur strategy... brilliant.!

If you were ever stuck or completely overwhelmed in this game you could place an ox tether in front of the opponent's gatehouse(s) to prevent unit flow. Fun game.
