Love Stronghold Crusader, ive played it off and on for years. Some good tips but I felt like I was watching a show from Rick's Interdimensional Cable, all it needed was "ants in my eyes" lol.

You can use wheat instead of Hops, because with Hops you will need to increase the number of inns by the time your pop increases.... With 2 or 3 wheat you'll produce so much already that the granary will always be full, just need a fixed number of bakeries and 2 Mills

You can also wall in the flowers and workers will take breaks where they stand instead of wasting time walking to the flowers.

My favourite tip. Try to name yourself something containing Richard.

Best advice I have for crusaders trail is if your facing a single opponent then all you need to do is immediately rush them with like 20 assassins and 10 horse archers to win.

I'm sorry but Sword selling is not the way. Crossbows are way better to sell and all you need is Wood, while on the other hand, getting iron is a longer process, usually further away from castle than trees.

petit conseil si vous entourez de pierrre le petit truque ou les mecs font cherchez la pierre les ox tether vont se remplir tout seul et vous aurez juste a mettre les a coté du stockpile pour gagner beaucoup plus de pierre (translate this in french if you dont understand its a really good tips)

Another tip for people. You can have engineers carry shields onto towers to increase the defense of the archers inside:)

So basically, using mercenaries is always better than creating your own crusader army, since it takes too much time to create? Sorry, I've played this game a lot, when I was a child and now I'm trying to re-learn things :D

Well, mercenaries cost is hige (Instaproduce) Yes but it can be expensive. Using Army is "Cheaper" but you still need to do workshops. I recommended building Army insted of using only mercenary because at the end you can sell weaponds (Swords) for good amount od gold. I still combo 2 typs of army. Horsearchers and Macemans od Pikemans for great wall demage capability. I hope it helps :)
