@@questionsimposed yes, the Romans left them with a pretty high power bill. Not everyone could pay it, so the power went out every couple years or so, until they Renaissance period when they learned how to reconnect things.. and that led to the enLIGHTENment.

Hahaha really! But, if you play at very hard difficulty, it actually has bigger formations in raids even if they are low level troops (missions 5, 6 and 8 were nightmares at first try).

The way Firefly recorded audio for a couple hundred names was the coolest thing ever. Going to the main menu and hearing the narrator greeting using your real name made me nearly have a heart attack. I haven’t played a game since that did that.

I Love This!! Thank you for this! The chant, it just, brings back so many memories, and is a constant reminder of the culture the kingdoms and people of back then! It gives such a strong connection to the actual history of Europe and how it were back then. Thanks to this game, it got me real interested and "engaged" into the medieval era! Combined with the castle building and the Economic game play this is basically the best medieval based strategy game (along with the other strongholds) to come out! Plus the story is amazing and it really get's me emerged as if i know them, the characters/People. And the community is so... Excellent and generous, speaking for most. Unlike that of many other games that i recall rubbish and as me then trying thus to neglect their existence, in which i fail to do, and as of so i would say that games like triple A's (AAA) and an example of the Assassins Creed game's in later forms, those of which has not compelled me. Except the first before they became to big and lost their control! The Strongholds Is The best games for me personally! We Keep A Strong Hold... If you know what i'm telling ye!
