Stronghold: Warlords: First Impressions #04 Genghis Khan (Extreme Difficulty)

Oh Stronghold... aside from Anno my great love. But how they have butchered you over the years, truly testing if your core loop is as indestructible as it seems. BUT: Crusader II was an Improvement to Stronghold 3. Will Warlords be another Step in the right direction?
To make it quick: Yes. In this series I will show you the different AI opponents and voice my thoughts about game and technical design. It turned out to be more positive than initially thought.

They really need to adjust KIs to reflect on their historical counter parts. Besides aesthetics (I doubt wooden walls would be added, but yurts is a good possibility since they are in game), the gameplay of every warlord should atleast reflect their real counterpart. In the case of Ghenghis, I would put less emphasis on defenses, and more emphasis on Horse Archer and Aux Cavalry harass early game while he focus more in getting more generals late game. I know that he needs to get a castle to get his economy, but his castle design should at least reflect sort of a nomadic theme rather than a stronghold-ish Theme (Kind of how they designed the Khan in SHC2).
