Eddie, try using the rear brake to control power to the wheel, more throttle and slip out the clutch a jus' wee bit more. Rear brake can be your BEST friend when draggin' off the line. Congrats on the sub 11 1/4 btw

From thumbnail was ready to rant about no protective gear. I am friends with a retired plastic surgeon. He saw many cases where the ankle bone was completely buffed away by the road surface due to pinned under the bike whilst sliding. Leg flesh cooked by the exhaust pipe was also common. Good to see no rant required.
