To answer your earlier point even though you're not a gambling guy - SF is actually favored in that game. I took KC in a heartbeat and think they will win fairly easily. SF's defense won't stop Mahomes on the back end, and KC's defense will make Purdy's life hell.

I get that Brock Purdy has struggled. But his mental toughness of not folding down double digits is what I can appreciate from him. Dak and Kirk could never match Purdy's mental toughness

My wife is starting to get into it as well. I encouraged her to view it like chess or Stratego, where you have time to discuss the past & next play. View the break in play as an exciting time & fun time. Also, food!

Zac! After binge watching both seasons of Reacher.. I have finally found a show that leaves you on the edge of your seat! It's not another throwaway Netflix or Prime special! I love Roscoe lol. Do you have any others that you would recommend?
@joelpierce14538 ай бұрын
Zac, I know you gave up on being picked up by a network, but I preferred the show when you didn't swear. Our culture is so vulgar all the time and everywhere that I appreciate content that isn't that way. Maybe I'm the only one, but I found the show more appealing when it was clean.

I mean he didn’t go for the field goal because the kicker isn’t great from 40+ yards out. Give your statements context, Zach. You have to trust in your offense to be better than your kicker. Just LOOK at the Lions offense 4th down conversion percentage, compared to the kickers field goal percentage.

Hopefully Lamar is able to get and win a Super Bowl in his career. Peyton and Drew Brees won their first one at 30 and Peyton wasn’t that good in his second run, in the championship game. While Drew should’ve had another appearance, so hopefully Lamar could turn it around.

Zac, as a long-time listener, it sucks to hear you repeat the same nonsense the "expert analysts" say. If you believe the chiefs will beat the 49ers, that's within your right. I will say, though, be honest in your evaluations of qbs. You praise lamar but knock purdy? But purdy won and lamar lost. The way you speak makes it sound like lamar just had this incredible game and just couldn't pull it out in the end. You mention lamar's passing numbers and rushing stats. You didn't mention that the Ravens ran the ball 8 times when it wasn't lamar. The 49ers are going to run the ball and give short routes for purdy to throw the ball. Purdy is also the best in the league against the blitz. So maybe give purdy some credit instead of tearing down his play like every single "expert" does. Love the videos. Keep up the good work.
@gabriel636808 ай бұрын
Zac did not praise Lamar in this episode; I'm not sure you gave him a fair shake here.
@Jetsua028 ай бұрын
@gabriel63680 so the sympathy he shows lamar while praising his stat line besides the 2 turnovers (which ultimately cost the ravens the game) isn't a clear indication he's showing the same bias the big media heads do? "Oh, poor lamar he didn't get it done" "Purdy really looks bad for 3 quarters..." Please explain how I didn't give him a fair analysis here.
@gabriel636808 ай бұрын
@@Jetsua02 If you listen to what he said in context and good faith, he's clearly expressing his disappointment in how Lamar didn't do more. Even as he talked about Lamar's stats, he said that it "wasn't bad" with a disappointed tone which translates to "you really should have done better." He also made it clear that he's rooting for Purdy and that he really likes him in spite of some mistakes he's made this postseason as a young QB.

Once again Zac is talking about the Seahawks without a single clue about whats going on in the team, another laughable segment proving he just doesnt care. Dude has been called out for it multiple times and claims to have friends that are hawks fans but still does the same lazy bs. Not surprised.

Two things I’m surprised weren’t mentioned While Dan Campbell not kicking the field goal was questionable, burning a time out the last drive of the game was inexcusable. Secondly, I think the Zay Flowers fumble into the end zone was a big game changer.
@prlysis8 ай бұрын
That fumble by Zay was huge. It should've been Lamar's 2nd TD pass, and the lead would've been only 3 with plenty of time left.
@prlysis8 ай бұрын
Lamar is actually 4-1 vs. Joe Burrow. I wonder how the Bengals will do next season with Burrow healthy again.

@hansonlee58478 ай бұрын
About Bill, he is definitely a great defensive coach (definitely better than Raheem Morris). The problem is that he, like Mike Shanahan, wants a lot of control over the personell. That would definitely result in a lot of front office conflict that the Falcons dont want to deal with. I just hope he uses this off-year to learn about giving up some control

Lamar is Dak, in the postseason. I'd love him to prove me wrong. He was the worst of the 4 QBs this past Sunday. Oh yeah and the Chiefs and their 17 points are soooo unbeatable (eye roll)
@pristinedecision18777 ай бұрын
I have no idea how you came into that game think Lamar was the second best QB in the league unless of course you only mean the QB who performed the second best this year which even then I’m iffy on. I’m a Chiefs fan so I don’t have to say who is the best but I fear Josh Allen and Burrow more than Lamar. He’s undoubtedly top 5 but he damn sure ain’t top 2.
@takezoman8 ай бұрын
Lets be really real, the only reason Lamar will win the mvp is because the Ravens' defense stunted on the two other mvp candidates on Christmas day. It wasnt because Lamar was this great player this year, it was merely because of narratives. Lamar didnt lead almost any statistic advanced or basic for exemple. So yeah, you got fooled.
@garfieldGG8 ай бұрын
As far as the lions going for it there, their kicker isn’t that good so it’s not anywhere close to 100% chance he makes that field goal. I’m more baffled he didn’t go for it before the half. Bc he’s been going for it in those situations all year. I more think it’s worthy of criticism for him not sticking to what he’s done there than him actually sticking to it in that moment later in the game.
@Kevindevin78 ай бұрын
Really bad take by you on the Lions 4th down call. Sucks you didn’t do more research.

Lamar is an average QB and a great RB. He is 2-4 in the playoffs. He inproved this year as a QB but he still can't win the big game. Cousins is not an elite QB for similar reasons. Jackson is only elite for his running ability.
@jameshollister82948 ай бұрын
He's not beating KC just like Dak can't beat 49ers.. but Lamar is better then people think
@thomasdurfee71578 ай бұрын
It remains to be seen. You take away Lamar's rushing ability and he is an average QB, maybe even below average. Dude can't win the big game just like Kirk who no one argues is an elite QB.

Why doesn't anybody question if Belicheck didn't get the Atlanta job because he probably wanted the roster control that he had in New England? I think it's more likely than not, that he wants GM duties as well as HC and owners know the juice ain't worth the squeeze there.
