Yeah!!! If I had a coupe sitting around, that's what I would want to do. Chop the top off, make a roadster and put in a monster engine. The paint and upholstery make me jealous as hell. That was a nice modded ride.

That Ghia was built by Jim Whitehead out of Texas. It was Porsche raspberry red

very nice work!!!! im a vw lover thats not a big fan of subaru motors in them BUT they are more driverble... there is a guy in australia (where im from) that does subaru gears (there subaru gear box's) and it makes them MORE driveable and now there 5 speed and motor doesnt rev so hard cause there factory box's

Jaysen Ballantine i here ya, but they do make excellent subs in theses cars , an i would love to own one, esp, here in Vegas, ive had bugs with 1600 aircooled an they are just not to happy in 110 degree summers, where the subaru is just great in all the conditions plus usually 3 times the power

The body mods does not appeal to me. I would have kept the originality of the body but drop it a little and upgrade the suspension. I had a 58 low light with a 1835 engine when I was in Cali. Sold it so I can go to college. I miss that car. 😢
