I’ve gotten 90% of my favorite/best books just getting my finger tips dirty and digging through the bullshit. I’ll never get tired of the feeling of striking gold after hours of pouring through valiant, dell and second year image shit. My favorite is when the clerk is obviously annoyed that you’ve scored books with decent prices on the bags and they know damn well they’re worth more😂

Great work on finding some of those hidden gems out there. I'm not a DC guy (aside from Lobo), but that 2nd appearance of Poison Ivy is a good one and the condition seems very nice! Hey man love the videos . Quite new to comic books and love the idea of comic book collecting . However one question that I want to ask is how do people like you go into the dollar bin and look and shuffle through comic books and find keys . There’s so many books , how does one get better at remembering which comic books are keys and be able to shuffle through boxes like a pro. Anything I can do to become better at this ?? I love Infinity Inc. If they were in mint condition, and that Golden Age mini series, I would have grabbed them, just because they were first to catch my eye - but that's just to own, rather than collect as an investment. But a number of those older comics in great condition would in deed be gold to come across. That silver age Secret Origins was certainly cool, and who can beat that Shazam #1 pair?

I personally got into collecting comics from my local flea market.. my family growing up never let me get into spawn for the "its not kid appropriate" phase... so when I was a grown man with adult money I snagged about 20-30 comics for $1 ONE DOLLAR!!!!! now they weren't in great shape... but they are actually really good for the price I got them at! And now I'm in love with Spawn.. (actually just picked up a Spawn #1 the other day in AMAZING shape!) again man great finds! 👍glad to see someone else likes to hit up the flea markets for hidden treasures!! 😁

Each starting with there own #1 since the last time anyone could buy a #1 of Spawn off the shelf for cover price was in 92! Soooo cool haha and he is getting help with these from big names! Like J. I did see as u were flipping thru that Avengers issue where they find Jean Grey in the ocean, after that issue is when X-Factor starts. Frickin score on the double Shazams!! It's not a valuable book but I'm an X-men guy so as a completionist I need that and FF 286, those were part 1 and 2 of the Return of Jean Grey, those led directly into X-factor 1. Bro where at in Jersey? I'm in West New York! U said flea market so I dont know any around me. Wayne has opened up their weekly conventions again but I think those are shops that sell there, I know my LCS does.

Wow you really have to get extremely lucky at a flea market to get anything worthwhile . I have some awesome books but I never found any thing worthwhile except the first appearance of Deadpool new mutants 98 I sold my graded copy 9.8 a couple of years ago for $800 yes I know it’s about $2000 now but I don’t bartend anymore so I have to sell comic books to live.Yes there are lots of nothing comics but the most recent comic book that went sky high would have to be edge of spider verse two the first appearance of spider Gwen well I have the death of Gwen Stacy 9.8 SU 121 and 122 of Spiderman they are both 9.8. I was always in love with her and it’s awesome to see that she is very relevant because ungraded copies are a couple of hundred dollars.I have a few raw copies and one is sign by Stan Lee .I still have plenty of good books but I had to pay top dollar at the time like I paid $10,500 for my Batman 1 5.0 restored superman 1 5.0 moderate professional restoration no trimming I only paid $12,500. I have other good books also probably the best deal was X-Men 1 $300 which was ungraded and it came back a 7.0 which is at least $23,000 right now😮😮😮😮😮

I was just reading about my X-Men 17.0 which I almost sold for $23,000 right now the book is worth $70,000 and I only paid $300 years ago. Look what happened to tales of suspense 39 in the last month. I have tales of suspense 39 8.5 I paid $5300 8.0 just sold for $75,000 and the 8.5 only sold for $65,000 yes there will be a price correction. It’s no better time to be a comic book collector than right now. Except if you want the vintage you have to be very wealthy.
