Structure and Timing for Leaving Cert Higher Level Maths

In this video I go through the structure of the leaving cert higher level maths paper (it is actually the same for the ordinary level paper). I also go through a recommended timing for each section.
Section A is 150 marks, it has 6 questions and you must answer 5. Each question is worth 30 marks and you should spend no more than 14 minutes on each question.
Section B is 150 marks also, it has 4 questions and you must do 3. Each question is worth 50 marks and you should spend no more than 23 minutes on each question.
This will leave you with at least 10 minutes to read through questions to pick which ones you want to do and a couple of minutes to check through at the end.
