Kindly tell me who choose members of senate. And senate is in fedral and do they approve legislation after passing a bill form national assembly with 2/3rd majority. Will u plz clear this confusion in very simple words

Members of senate are elected by members provincial assemblies. Every province is alloted equal seats for election which are 14 for each province. And basically the Parliament comprises of two houses National Assembly and senate. NA is lower house and Senate is upper house and for any legislation it need to b passed by boht houses. If one house pass and one reject then there will be a combined session of both houses and vote of majority will be valid. Single house cannot pass legislation generally.
