Structure VII

The essence of sequencer music is a fixed pattern of notes - a structure in musical space, if you will - repeated over an evolving musical backdrop. It may be said that there is a parallel with orbital structures - satellites, space stations and so on - which even without changing their orbit, witness an ever-changing backdrop of the Earth as it appears to rotate under them.
