Structuring a Multi Family Real Estate Investing Corporation In Canada 2021

Today we talk about corporate structure!
Corporate structure is a topic that I know many new and experienced real estate investors have so today we catch with my good friend Fraser Nybo from Saskatchewan who we visited back in 2019 and we discuss how things he goes about organizing and building his multi family real estate investing portfolio and the rest of his businesses corporate structure!
Quick reminder! You should also sit down with your own tax accountant and your own attorney so that way you build something that is exactly right for your situation! This video and other people's corporate structure is extremely contextual and although you may think your situation is similar to Fraser you still want to discuss it with experts who understand your situation but I hope us sharing his example here sparks some inspiration and long term thinking in regards to how you should consider structuring your real estate investing corporation!

What does " put under contract mean" ? Is that another way to say you bought a house ? I'm slightly confused

'Put under contract' is when you have a signed agreement with a seller or buyer of a property. It just means that the property is yours until you have enough time to do your due diligence on it (they can't go and sell it to someone else). Then the next step is to remove conditions and then close on the property. Hope that helps!
