Their family situations are different. Plus parents always worry for their daughter more especially if she is the only child. Because she will be on her own w her husband when she is married. Think of her mom side of the story or how you would be react when your were her mom and had no good impression of the Bf. Actually, it's very possible. There are quite a few among family members and friend's families. When my parents first met my brother's girlfriend it was a big happy event for the whole family. The girl friend now my sister in-law was nervous like Lin Xi. My aunts and uncles are like that with my cousins. That's why we only bring home boyfriends or girlfriends when we are very serious in the relationship. My mother and father In-law make sure my favorites fruits (the type hard to get in Canada) are in the fridge when we go visit in Asia. Just want to say that so you don't give up hope... It is possible. 🥰♥️🙏
