I remember my days I didn't buy coffee for a year as I have to pay my second year fees. And one of my friend's work was 3km away from his home. He used to walk to and from the work so he can save 6$ everyday. Those are hard days. It makes you stronger and make you appreciate the every bite of food you eat. Whenever I talk to my mom I make fun that in my student days we never eat any sabji we always ate lentils, beans or channe. But even then we never felt that we are eating same thing every week. As we were eating for hunger not taste. That was big lesson Canada taught us to appreciate the food we get to eat

Just a small suggestion and can be helpful at times. If I case you are ever stranded and have no means to commute in the night and are in a situation that scares you or makes you feel unsafe as a last resort call N0n emergency number/Local police station and tell them its not an emergency and ask if they can help you drop you off 99% of the times they will help and make sure you are safe. I can understand your struggle and I hope you have a wonderful life in Canada. Struggles are a part of life and you'll surely fight with it and succeed. Have a good one.

Even I have faced the same things but the quote " This too shall pass" was already with me when I landed in Canada, That's probably the reason why I enjoyed every single moment I spent doesn't matter how much struggle it demands. All my strength to you brother! But going to abroad comes under that category of struggle which most of the people choose as a choice and is not forced on them. If you go to big Metro cities even in India, you will find so many lower class people having the similar problems. They come from small cities and have to do jobs like Zomato, swiggy etc. It's always difficult when you have to earn for survival. Same is the case here. Today, instead of working on our skills, we prefer to leave our country Luckily, our generation has not seen so much of hard time .There is a reason why our parents are always worried about money matters because they come from times of war and poverty when survival / existence was the only need. I mean, our parents brought us from zero to one and now we leave our countries and start again from scratch. We leave our well established houses, businesses in India and go to these foreign countries. I feel so bad looking at these kids. I mean the video is too emotional. But my point is, with same amount of money and efforts that we use in going to Canada, we can do something very fruitful in India But again, this is a subjective thing. Just a point of view! May God give you more and more strength and you make India proud!
