Literally almost every successful trader has lost a small fortune when starting out. Its actually almost necessary so that you can learn to change your mindset about your trading. Successfully trading stocks isn't about studying the market. It's about studying yourself. Before realizing that lesson I lost $25k and now I'm much more consistent

I started trading live almost one year ago. At one point I made profits but I've lost them all back to the market and some. I had days where I felt like I was on top of everything, even had made more in 1 day than I made in a week working at my full time job. It was such an amazing feeling, I had that first feeling becoming successful in trading, but of course I got greedy and that's when my profits went straight back to the market. One loss led to another over frustration and feeling like I was right all the time. So for now I've taken a step back and got a mentor and have a greater focus on risk management rather than making money. It really takes the fear out of trading. Cant wait for the future💪🏻

At the end of the day people, its about being able to follow a METHODICAL SYSTEM, whether you create it, or follow another system or Plan, it must be so Methodically Mechanical Minded, that ITS BORING. Checklist like a Pilot of a 747 loaded with passengers. Daily Goal of PERCENTAGE is a MUST. You MUST have a target for your day. If its 1-2-3-4-5% a day, AIM FOR THAT. If your close for the day to your target, NEVER go back in for the hamster in a house fire, sort of speaking. If your goal is 5%, but your at 4.75%, call it a successful day. This isnt a game, its blood for blood in this business. Dont play in traffic. Another MUST, is journalling. Amazon has nice journals for like $10. Its a calendar planner book. EVERYDAY, you must write in it, Even if its just a big X. Grade yourself for the day, log ending balance, number of trades, and emotions. DO NOT start tomorrows entry today. Tomorrow, log your starting balance, your target, and self assessment Grade with smiley faces, or Mr Yuck face, lol, what ever. ITS___ALL___IN___THE___MIND. Master YOU. Most systems work, its the user that breaks it. Never Assume, Throw "Gut Feeling" out the window, You HAVENT seen this before, because it hasnt happened yet, remember that.. Man I Love this Career Choice!! Have a great Holiday, and Get ready to Break-Out in 2021!! CHEERS PS: GET THAT JOURNAL TODAY, lol..

Most newbies do not understand what it means to learn how to trade. It's not the same as going to college to learn a skill or trade. Even most trading academies can't really teach people how to trade. Then how can someone learn to trade?! Imagine someone trying to learn how to fly a commercial plane all on his own with trial and error. How many planes do you think he'll crash and burn before he ever learns, if ever? The majority of people will never learn how to trade successfully because it's just not built into their DNA. The reason why is learning how to trade successfully has so many variables involved internally and externally that all must be working together in a highly synchronous way. And the majority of people have many layers of personal issues on top of all of that to boot. It takes a very special, highly disciplined, highly motivated, and determined, individual willing to change everything about himself and his life so that he can mind meld with the equity instruments of his/her's choosing. Yes, you must literally become one with the beast. To merge into the machinations of the equity pairs' price movements and oscillations in a synchronized fashion on a minute, hourly, and daily basis. For some this will take years or decades. For the attuned disciplinarian it may only take months or a couple years. Learning to trade is not cookie cutter as there are various methods, styles, and approaches, or techniques which harmonize specifically with each different individual much like a finger print of uniqueness. These multiplicities of variables is why learning how to trade is so esoteric to the traditional way of academic training systems we know of today. However I've discovered that there are better ways to learn that makes it easier and faster to jump the learning curve of the multiplicity of variables that obstruct the path to trading success. I call it contextual trading adaptation. It's sort of like putting on training wheels that allows you to see price movements and oscillations with many layers of contextual precepts so that your brain learns how to presupposition the next volley of price movements with highly probable price vectors. Take for example a highly skilled MMA or Martial Arts fighter that can anticipate any kick or punch from any type of opponents. They are highly trained to key off of the contextual presuppositions of the opponents body position, weight shifting, head movements, and foot work. The equity markets also have very similar keying factors that can also be read. But one must train specifically on these hidden but significant key contextual factors. Once identified and repetitively trained over many periods it soon becomes part of your natural instincts where you'll just take action naturally without much thought. This is high pinnacle of trading achievement can be attained by the top traders through traditional learning methods of today. But these special breeds are far and few of the many masses. They may not have even realized that they have intuitively learned these key contextual presuppositions or even know of it's nature. But they've developed the gut feeling nature of it within their successful trading methods. This is why it is so difficult for the masses to learn trading using the traditional methods of today. Some day when I'm ready I will bring this out to the public.

There's another way to make it happen and that's by doing things right from the start. Ça fait plaisir!

You can, by learning, getting the right info, changing your mindset so that you follow your rules, following others who are actually successful (becareful of the fakes, the most successful do not flaunt their wealth) and by practicing(papertrading/demo accounts) for some months successfully. Too many people go in blind. Oh and one final thing do not treat this as a get rich quick scheme it's not. Trading well is hardwork aim for consistency even if you only make 2%.

Great video Etienne! Love hearing about people who have gone through the same journey that I did. Some a lot rougher than mine actually. The common denominator is they all kept going and didn't give up. I was wondering, if you haven't done this yet, can you do a video with different trader's experiences of finally becoming profitable. I know that experience was surreal for me. Like finding what you think is the final piece to a puzzle but still not believing you put it all together either. Then realizing you still haven't figured out the money management part of the puzzle yet.

That's a great idea! Most traders I know didn't realize they were profitable until many months later when they finally looked back at their performance.

The way I got started trading was trying to figure out how I could compound 1% a day and make a 150 million dollar account in a year too LOL

Good strategy. Do your learning with OPM let those suckers take the loss hahaha. That’s how you manage risk

Sometimes with binary options you can make that in a day. Maybe binary is just quicker?
