Hughie forgave him, and shook his hand (Part one of the redemption arc) and then he actually got his first save (2nd part of the redemption arc) so he feels what it feels like to be a hero with a real save. 3rd part of the redemption arc would be him sacrificing himself in some way, or form. A MAJOR death happens every episode 8. A train's popularity never been higher. He's going to die.

I was really hoping that Joe was real and not a hallucination , it would have been so cool to see him hang out with the other character’s to and not just Butcher , such a shame. But on the positive side , at least Jeffrey Dean Morgan once again gave away a good performance , every screen time he had till now was really good acted , he had some really cool line’s while talking to Butcher despite being a hallucination. Hopefully we will see him again as a flashback cause we really need to know how Joe was like and how he died , i know that he said that Butcher left him to die but that was probably just Butcher feeling guilty , Joe must have sacrificed himself to save Butcher , i dont think that Butcher left him cause he was obviously really close with Joe.

There are a few possibilities. One is what you posed that he somehow sacrificed himself, but, if we're honest with ourselves, it's not that farfetched that Butcher left someone to bite it so he could complete a mission, especially if that someone was as hard-core as he is. On the flip, it is also possible that since this is based on Butcher's recollection of how Joe went out, that he'd have no idea if Joe survived being left behind. We could get Morgan reprising the role as a POW that escapes in modern day to deal with the world's ills. Maybe 'The Boys Mexico' can be a place for him to end up.

Actually Jeffery Dean Morgan being a real character or a figment of Butcher's imagination is really 50/50 to me. I haven't seen anyone else acknowledge his character except for Butcher so it leans more towards him not being real. That Webweaver scene was messed up in so many ways. I have to say that this show's one sided bias to male nudity is actually getting pretty old. If you're not going to keep the nudity balanced then don't do it at all. I've seen more male backside than I've ever even remotely wanted to in my entire life on this show alone. If the show wasn't as good as it is I would've stopped watching it after they started going overboard with it. However, I give it to the show though because that web fart was funny as hell. 😂 I knew Tek Knight was an A-hole from when he appeared in the Gen V show, but I had no idea his character was racist as fuck also. It's cool we finally got a chance to see the new Black Noir. He seems like he's not yet as F'd up as the other members of the Seven. Damn this show is cracking me up with these weird ass fart moments. Got Hughie bursting out a German Chocolate poot. 🤣 I feel so bad for Hughie in that dungeon situation and I didn't realize how much Ashley's character is a super freak. I wasn't expecting MM to actually do it, but sometimes you have to make a quick decision even if you don want to do it. I'm glad A-Train got a moment to truly feel what it's like to be really seen as a hero. I just hate that the more they do this the more likely they're going to kill him off. I actually want to see "Real Hero" A-Train until the end of the last season now. It's messed up how the show drops a lot of truth about the way society and the world thinks and operates. The sad thing is that it's most likely just going to get worse in the real world before it ever get better. Homelander is lucky Neumann stepped up when she did or things would've gone sideways. Tek Knight got what he deserved as far as I'm concerned. The only thing he really had a problem with his money being transferred to was Black Lives Matter. That safe word reveal gave me a nice chuckle. I didn't see that twist coming with Homelander and Firecracker. I was legitimately shocked at that scene. That scene with Hughie talking about how he missed his dad really got me. Jack Quaid is a great actor because you could feel it in his face when he said it. They really could've left out all the constant male cheeks, but other than that I really enjoyed the episode. The episode MVP award goes to "Freak Ass Deadpool". 😆 Enjoyed the reaction 👍👍✌ out.
