Instead of laxatives, I highly recommend magnesium. Obviously if you take too much, it gives you diarrhea, but take the right amount and it helps you stay regular. Plus you get all the tremendous benefits of magnesium. Preferably in a powder or liquid form.

Yes, magnesium hydroxide, often found in products like Milk of Magnesia, is commonly used as a laxative. It works by drawing water into the intestines, which helps to soften the stool and stimulate bowel movements. Other forms of magnesium that can act as laxatives include magnesium citrate and magnesium sulfate (Epsom salts). But best to ask a pharmacist for advice!
