Cependant, je peux vous dire que j'ai toujours aimé la musique et de tous les pays. En ce qui concerne l'Inde, j'ai vu plusieurs fois, il y a longtemps, quand j'étais jeune, le film "Le salon de musique" de Satyajit Ray, qui m'a beaucoup frappé et que je n'ai jamais oublié. Dans ma jeunesse aussi, j'ai été très attiré par les arts et la culture des pays d'Asie, sous toutes leurs formes et j'ai été élève du Musée Guimet à Paris. Puis, il y a une dizaine d'années, grâce à internet, j'ai découvert les merveilleuses danses traditionnelles de l'Inde, comme l'Odissi et le Bharata natyam, que je préfère à toutes les autres danses. Enfin, il y a trois ans, j'ai commencé à lire et à méditer la Bhagavad Gita, ainsi que l'enseignement de Râmakrishna que j'ai découvert grâce aux livres de Jean Herbert et de Romain Rolland en particulier, et que je trouve d'une beauté et d'une richesse incomparables. Pour mieux comprendre tout cela, je me suis mis à étudier l'hindouisme, ce qui m'a permis de beaucoup mieux comprendre ma propre religion chrétienne originelle. La musique religieuse de l'Inde, spécialement carnatique et interprétée par Uthara Unnikrishnan et son père, sont vraiment pour moi un bonheur et un réconfort quotidiens. Je remercie profondément votre pays de m'avoir donné toutes ces joies et surtout, à travers tout cela, le rôle véritable de la religion et du divin dans notre vie.
