For anyone just discovering this album... welcome aboard. This is the without a doubt the most definitive punk rock album of all time that ignited the scene of skate punk and every other breed of style beyond this album from any punk artist. I can attest to this cause my band was on a Volcom compilation with them when they started getting big in the scene. We were all star struck with envy and we started writing music like them. I listen to this album almost everyday and it keeps me alive and breathing. Its funny, I noticed that anyone that I met that loves this album all have a similar personality of "kickass" lol. Its no wonder Strung Out have legions of loyal fans.

Yea ppl always get that wrong... they grew into metal influences merged with skate punk and started the style. But they could never be defined as metal coming from a guy that professionally performs it. But definitely solid regardless. Strung Out is one and only.

Hell yea.. Jim Cherry is the man. RIP I remember after i heard "Another Day in Paradise", the previous album, i went into Music Trader, the local store in San Diego,+ asked if there was anything else from Strung Out.. The clerk said "yea this one just came out last week.." i didn't realize i was holding one of the most vital albums ever. Jason is such a great singer.
