Oooh, I _LOVE_ Battle Beast. I've seen them in concert a few times, and they always put on a really fun show. Noora, the singer, is fantastic! She has a wonderful voice, and it absolutely holds up live - not just in the studio. Plus she's full of energy and really gets the crowd pumped up. A lot of folks don't really like their newest stuff because it's a bit more cheesy/80s/radio friendly, but I think it's a great if you're in the mood for something light-hearted and fun.

I second to that. In addition, Anton composed all the songs for three first Battle Beast albums, and the Beast is his concept, and finally he was kicked out. And he plays awesome solo in this track.

The lead singer's name is Noora Louhimo. They were just on tour in the US and they ROCKED! One of the best shows I have seen in a long time and they were the warmup band! Check out a newer song by them -- its titled "Eden" and it is VERY GOOD!

Noora has a super voice for metal, I really love this band but when Anton left they've never been as good. Although the last album was good it somewhat disappointed me. But please react to their cover of the classic W.A.S.P. track Wild Child it showcases Noora's vocals. I second the comment regarding Anton's new band Beast In Black they are really good.

Vocalist of Battle Beast (Noora Lautamo) is working also with her solo album and that will be, surprisingly, blues-rock and country-rock genre. Very interesting to hear that when it comes available. Some how it looks that now more and more (At least here in Finland) female vocalist will show how to rock and that is so cool. Few tips more to your list (With female vocalist): -Dark Element and "Songs The Night Sings" ( Former Nightwish vocalist Anette Olzon is making comeback on this band) -JESS & THE ANCIENT ONES - Prayer for Death and Fire ( How about some psychedelic rock from...70's?) One of favorites is "Haloo Helsinki" (With name "Ellips" on solo), this young woman and song writer knows how to rock, maybe she will do album also at English,some day? She is in my top two female metal vocalists, with very raspy rock voice, beautiful clean voice and wild on stage performance. BUT, I don't think her best vocals have been seen in Battle Beast though. Songs Noora has sung outside of BB, show her skills better. But I like BB, they are whole band very fun and chill, awesome live.

If you enjoy 1980's vibes, check out Peer Günt, they were big in Finland in 80's, and are still going strong. Too bad only bassist and drummer have been changed, original lineup was just bullseye.
