I can't thank you enough for this work. Quality is awesome, pace is just right. Books are useful, but this learning by seeing and doing is far more intuitive and brings me up to speed far better than anything tried before. Keep on creating! Suggestion: if you could produce one on the use of Spring WebFlow with Struts2/Spring MVC for stateful web apps, that would be tremendous. There is rather little material on WebFlow on youtube or the web at large. Regards.

@JulianJupiter11 жыл бұрын
Hi Sir, i got problem; I thoroughly followed your tutorial; it worked on Windows 7, but it didnt on ubuntu 13.04; i tried to investigate by simply creating same project but without Struts library, filter tags on web.xml and struts.xml. i created only index.jsp with just 'Welcome' text, it worked. then i added struts library, it worked again but when added filter tags to web.xml, struts.xml & TutorialAction.java class, it got error again, it cannot find getTutorial.action and also index.jsp

Struts is designed to separate the logic on the server, while GWT is an AJAX framework(client), which gets compiled to javascript. You can't really compare the two.

getting error while running this my application please help error is org.apache.jasper.JasperException: The Struts dispatcher cannot be found. This is usually caused by using Struts tags without the associated filter. Struts tags are only usable when the request has passed through its servlet filter, which initializes the Struts dispatcher needed for this tag. - [unknown location]
