STS-131 Launch of Shuttle Discovery 4-5-10 (Banana Creek)

The last 2 minutes of the countdown and launch, as viewed from the VIP area on Banana Creek, approximately 3.5 miles away from the pad. Quite literally the thrill of a lifetime! About 14 minutes prior to launch, the ISS came over the site, crossed in front of the moon and soared over the pad, beckoning the waiting Discovery to join the chase. Afterward, we were treated to a beautiful sunrise.
