Daniel J. Garcia Jr. I think they went to her quickly when they found out Murph was quitting because she's a phenomenal musician instead just, "Yea, shed be able to play our shit." You can hear it to. Her different style is apparent but its smooth as fuck.

It was pretty cool experiencing tribe in the evening though and watching it turn night. Especially since the vast majority of their shows are in darkness, it gave it a very unique feel. =)

Jared Garcia Yeah, I definitely prefer seeing the light show in the dark, but seeing the boys during the daytime (or even better at sunset) is something to be experienced at least once

I agree - and I was there. I enjoyed this Tribe set, but it was an Umphrey's crowd in Umphrey's hometown. This was meant to be an Umph night. I was pretty disappointed by the relatively weak crowd, and the fact that Tribe didn't use their pyramid more. If you've got a great piece of stage equipment like that, you should damn well use it!

That's the end of One A Day. This is some of the dirtiest, funkiest, filthiest, most awesome shit they play. My favorite STS9 era was when they were in to this stuff. Anybody remember the Hip Hop Improvs or Robo Improvs? I love Hunters sound here!

My very first Tribe show =] It was fun, but I honestly thought the one at MeadowBrook the next night was better. The Pyramid was cool, but it annoyed me that they didn't use it as much as they should have - just a big prop taking up space, IMO. My first show without it, I was so glad they decided to get rid of it, Saxton can do so much more without it

Remember they also opened for Umpherys at this show! (And the one before in Indy!) they probably headlined the next night at Meadow Brook, so you for the full experience there. Pretty cool seeing a set of theirs in the sunlight and a great first show for you :)
