Enjoy the recap from the Silence the Shame University Mind Matters: Exploring Mental Health Professions Conversations & Care aimed to bring together professionals from diverse backgrounds to discuss their roles in the field, personal journeys, insights, and mental health awareness, among other topics. The students were able to talk to local professionals as well as enjoy an amazing relaxing sound bath from Tamiko Hope, the Sound Bath Facilitator.
Silence the Shame has designed a program for our local college students called Silence the Shame University (STSU) to increase Mental Health literacy amongst our college students and promote suicide prevention. STSU aims to train College Ambassadors to normalize mental Health, connect with college campuses and to form community support.
Silence the Shame University created a behavioral health panel aimed to bring together professionals from diverse backgrounds to discuss their roles in the field, personal journeys, insights, and mental health awareness, among other topics.
