I first saw this band in 2011 a few months before they performed in the Rose Bowl. And I've been a fan every since. With that said, I have to say that I feel their routines (although still good) have been a little tamed since Mr Tanaka retired in 2018. But with this routine, it looks like they have gotten back to the strong "Orange Devils" that I first fell in love with.

「TAIWAN PLUS 2024 京都新宝島」 に続き楽しく拝聴させていただきました。タイムラインの演目頭出し（区切り）は非常にありがたいです。それから、マーチングでは音楽の演奏効果を最大限引き出すためには金管楽器と打楽器が最も重要になると思います。これからのパレードはもちろんですが、特にローズパレードは沢山の観客に音が吸い込まれてしまうはずです。パサデナではこれぞ日本の「京都橘」と言われるサウンドを期待したいです。ありがとうございました。

そうですね🙋 やっと日常の生活が戻ってきた感じがします かつてはよく見かけた観客とのハイタッチ いろいろとリスクやら ご意見等あるでしょうが 自分的にも ホッコリできる光景なので 少しでも見れるといいなぁなんて考えてしまいます 特に 小さい女の子なんかは一生の思い出になるかもだし それがきっかけで 橘に憧れ 入部とかもありますし リアルの部員さんもおられますしね。 とにもかくにも 毎年 年度毎の 特徴があり 色々と楽しませて頂いております 今年度は アメリカ遠征 どんなパレードになるか今からとても楽しみです 。

スモーク・オン・ザ・ウォーターとインディ　ジョーンズが来年のローズ　パレードの目玉になるのかな？OG、OBも今から練習してるのかな？あれだけの人数でのパレードだから、どれだけの練習をしているのか？体育会系の自分だったけど京都橘高校の吹奏楽部の練習には､きっと､ついていけないと思います。何せ約9キロの道のりを、旗🏳️を降ったり楽器🎺の演奏それにダンス💃だから想像するだけで凄いよ(;´д｀)でも来年のローズ　パレード本当に楽しみにしてます。皆さんの笑顔が大好き💕沢山の思い出と感動を残して来て下さい。応援してます。(^-^)追伸、個人的にはドラクエの序曲が好きだから、いつか取り入れて下さい😊

今回のパレードがローズ用の選曲とパフォーマンスだろうか。 まだスタートしたばかりだろうけど、過去２回からみると少しおとなしくなって各曲の振付も似て同じような。 まさか音質などを考慮しているわけでは。ローズに音質？ 先輩達のような躍動感、エネルギッシュさを。 まだローズまで時間があるのだから❗

ローズパレードでの選曲、楽しみですネ！Down by the riverside、sing sing sing ､ディズニーメドレーの定番は当然として、はたしてどんな曲がプラスされるのでしょう！2012年はレディーガガの「Bad Romance」、2018年はファレルウィリアムスの「Happy」ピットブルの「Ｆire Ball」そして昔のジャズなど、国内パレードではあまり演奏されなかった曲のオンパレードでした。期待しましょう！！！

多分今の顧問の先生の意向だと思いますが、動きより音色を優先したパレードだなと感じました。ローズの前にマーコン府大会、関西大会、全国大会が控えているので、音色もそちらを優先したものだと思います。 ですが、私も2012.2018年を超える迫力あるぱれーを期待しているので、年末が楽しみです。

２０１８年１月（１１４期３年生）のローズパレードは２０１６年（１１３期３年生）のパレードリストからDisney MedleyとFireballを２０１７年（１１４期３年生）からHappyが選曲ブラッシュアップされ２０１６年にハワイ遠征した事が関係しているか分かりませんがHawaii Five‐Oが選曲されていますね！２０１７年のThe Raiders MarchからStar Warsに変更もされていました！ 当時の関係者がローズパレード＝アメリカを意識して気遣い心遣いしたのかアメリカ由来（出身）の楽曲が大半だと思います。 ２０２３年からの国内パレードに選曲されたSmoke on the Water〜We will rock you〜Can't Buy Me Loveは３曲共にイギリス出身グループ曲で音楽に国境は無いと言われますがローズパレードで演奏されるのか？ ２０１８年ではI'm in the Mood for dancing（The Nolans/イギリス）が演奏されましたね

I think the Green Band is when they travel internationally and includes alumni of the band.

the standing size is usually closer to 100-120 members, when representing the greenband association at the rosebowl parade, alumnae are invited to participate to make a bigger show. The annual program is shaped by the seniors of that year. I think this is very early in their school year because the freshmen are still only walking behind the band which means they are performing at around 2/3 strength maybe? The previous year's seniors will have moved on. This is a high school band, don't set astronomical expectations of what you think it should or shouldn't be. The band is different every year. Most of the bands that participate under the green band banner do the same to an extent, they are generally combined bands or a school band with alumnae added.

同感です。 今年は会場が変わったので各学校のマーチングも中途半端になったようで、連盟の運営にも対応に戸惑ったと思われる。 折角の機会だから事前に色々チェックすべきだった。

I love Kyoto Tachibana, but that woman wearing the white t-shirt and walking in front and minding the band is completely unnecessary. She is probably a nice person, but she looks out of place and blocks views. Please use a different method to control crowds. Thank you. 京都橘は大好きですが、白いTシャツを着て前を歩きながらバンドの世話をしているあの女性は完全に不要です。彼女はいい人なのでしょうが、場違いな感じだし、視界を遮ります。群衆を制御するには別の方法を使用してください。ありがとうございます。

She is Ms. S, a marching instructor who has been the marching coach for the Kyoto Tachibana High School Wind Orchestra (KT) since June 2020. Some of you may not know her, so here is a brief biography. After graduating from KT111th class (percussion), she studied abroad in the United States and participated in DCI for two years, after which she obtained her DCI instructor qualification and taught students in the United States for one year. She returned to Japan in the spring of 2020 and began working as a freelance marching coach. Her experience as a former instructor at the forefront of the field was highly evaluated, and she began receiving many requests for instruction from various schools. She took over from Coach Y as coach at KT in June 2020. 彼女は2020年6月から京都橘高校吹奏楽部（以下KT）のマーチングコーチを担当している、マーチングインストラクターのＳさんです。 ご存知ない方もいらっしゃるでしょうから略歴をご紹介します。 KT111期生（パーカッション担当）卒業後アメリカ留学し2年間DCIに参加、その後DCIインストラクターの資格を取得し、1年間アメリカで生徒を指導。2020年春に日本に帰国し、フリーランスのマーチングコーチとして活動。元指導員として第一線で活躍した経験が評価され、各学校から指導の依頼が多数寄せられるようになった。KTには2020年6月からYコーチから交代でコーチとなりました。
