To watch you make parts with such accuracy and precision is always a delight. I'm always impressed that i think you're actually having real fun. What more can you ask for when you are having fun doing what you like. I'm sure there are alternatives to using the machining ball to find the position but I really enjoyed the simplicity of the machining ball method. Excellent job as usual.

My favourite model to date, and that's saying something after the beautiful lathe, drill press, shaper etc. I can see why the BA thread series is popular for scale models like this (in the UK at least), the threaded parts just look "right".

Think, think, think, Setup, setup and setup. Don't forget the physics in play here as well eh. Good to see you Joe. I am always impressed with the condition of vise jaws. Yours are all in great condition. I have seen and had to use vises that are hacked into, drilled and hammered the daylights out of. Want some pressure in a job. That's the best way I know of is to HAVE to use a beat up vise that you can't get a good grip on a part. Shoulders and neck muscles standing straight out from worry. That is some slick machining my friend! ! ! No doubt that eh !
