It's kind of strange that this game was released on PS1, when there's a scene in the movie with the PS2 being played. So the movie showed that the PS2 existed by this time. So why was this game still made for the PS1 and not the PS2?
@OtherFiles5 жыл бұрын
No idea. Perhaps Sony Pictures Entertainment and Sony Computer Entertainment didn't exactly get the same message from their parent company about solid product integration or something. Even for a few years, I thought this was a little bit strange.
@Katzelle34 жыл бұрын
Older systems usually have the bigger install base and since the PS2 can run PS1 games, you serve both PS2 and PS1 gamers with the PS1 version alone. Think of Just Dance 2020 releasing on the Nintendo Wii.

Ah, this is nostalgic. I remember watching this trailer for the game on DVD after watching the film the first few times, and I let my parents know how much I wanted it and received it either on my Birthday or Christmas. Playing the game again years later after obtaining a new copy, it's probably not necessarily one of the best licensed games out there, but I like it.

@@skunkman9815 I wrote it specifically for this trailer. Doesn't have a name. "Stuart Little 2 Playstation Trailer Music." I don't think you'll be able to find it anywhere else online, unfortunately. But I am really joyful to find this video 20 years later, and see all the comments that people liked the music back in the day.

Honestly, the game is pretty good. It’s basically the same as Toy Story 2, which felt inspired by Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie. If I had to complain about anything, there’s not enough levels. If you know what to do, you can 100% the game in about 3 hours.
