Another powerful song by Iron Maiden.
My inspiration for this arrangement was twofold.
First of course the brilliant original.
Second, an acoustic instrumental cover by Thomas Swijsen.
Thomas is a flamenco guitarist who has made a series of albums called "Nylon Maiden".
I'm not sure when this song was written, but the words are so relevant today, with the world spiralling downwards into multiple wars.
It angers me to see always a tiny tiny percentage of human beings inflicting death destruction and human misery onto millions.
"Somewhere there's someone dying in a foreign land.
Meanwhile the world is crying stupidity of man"
Stupidity of man.
Well that's my rant for today 🤨
I hope I did OK with this, and as always thanks for listening 🙂 🎸
Update March 2024.
