This is one my all time favorites. It has such a powerful message....we'll never understand or be able to fathom how He can love us eternally in spite of our mistakes, fumbling and stumbling, and sometimes deliberate sin or disobedience. Yet the LORD still forgives us and loves us!

This is one of the first songs I learned when I really started expanding my CCM library. It goes back about ten years, but I would grab collection sets on christianbook, or wherever I was shopping for music at the time. Yes, this song is dated, but for the generation that grew up with those early days when CCM was in its prime,.....these songs are timeless. You also have to understand that when Reunion records first started there wasn't a competition with the record labels, it was just Reunion and Word. Everything stemmed from those two record labels. I think a lot of people who have head Stubborn Love over the years would say that it's a personal favorite, and that it brings out the timeless truth that can only be found in Jesus Christ. This year I am 30 and I cannot stop listening to all the old 80s hits. I treasure those songs. If you're a child of the 80s, share songs like Stubborn Love to your kids. Sure seems like today we are starting to compromise in our worship songs,........may God bless whoever reads this post!!
