Why didn’t u wet wall before applying the Tex coat bro , to help bind mechanically ???? Just wondering ? We do it this way in Colorado,

Don't need to wet wall for stucco to bond to a exterior plaster wall, also this material has pigment color in it and if you wet the walls the color will not dry constantly and Gove you a ghosting affect

Also it is not a tex coat this is a different material, I get what you mean, a tex coat has a paint base and needs the walls to be cooler to give it a proper bond. Hopefully this answers your questions my plaster brother 🙏

Scratch and brown coat is that 2 coats a scratch coat and brown coat sorry i know nothing about stucco lingo

Yes that’s right. 3/8” each. First scratch then brown, then finish. Finish is only 1/8”
