I’ve actually got my main, Spiderman to level 172 (Champion Tree maxed out) without doing any of the Raid or OLT missions. My other heroes are between 155-159. Sure it’s a slower method but I’m not a fan of how online works in this game, matchmaking is a mess, and being forced to work as a team with clueless people who aren’t mic’d up on the Raid & OLT is beyond frustrating.

@@gaystevo18 currently outside of the OLT and Raid missions the only way to gain gear above level 140 is to do the event mission chains. Eg. Tachyon Event, Cosmic Event etc.

I'm gonna admit... I don't play the raid anymore. Simple reason is toxic players. Recently,I told someone I haven't played the raids that often so not great at it. When I try and learn how to, I get abuse for not doing it quick enough. I still do the Family Reunion OLT and corrupted vibranium and cosmic threat sectors so still enjoy the game overall. Keep the videos coming :-)

Tip: Some events can't be played solo either, for the tachyon event you need multiple same hero characters in your team. Which means again multiplayer. That event was going on when I was trying to figure out how to finaly get some gear above 140 (PL 150) as all my chars are stuck there. So I still did not understood it after watching this video. So i figured out that if you want to go the solo route and the event chain is also multiplayer your stuck untill the next event comes along. Man this sytem is realy, realy bad. There has to be at least one solo event available at any time for solo players to get some higher level gear(1x a week per char for all I care). I don't care that it takes longer just give me something., sigh. Also the fact that so many people have the same question means it's realy bad explained ingame (or basicly not at all).

The OLT can be done without communication but you absolutely have to have communication for the raid and it’s hard to find that when joining a raid. That makes it so hard to level up

They have done a lot to clean up the progression in this game and make it less confusing, but it can still be intimidating and messy to learn, especially the specifics of the very tip of the endgame, and this is 100% the cleanest I’ve ever seen it explained for the game as it currently stands. Thanks for putting this out there. I’ve played a ton and researched a ton and this still cleared up some things. One simple clarification question though: what is the cap on gear power level for the event meta objectives? Or does it differ per event? You called out the OLT and normal raid for capping at 150 and the elite raid at 165, but you didn’t specifically say how high the meta objectives scale. I was assuming they’d cap at 150 to funnel everyone into the raid, but you also said it was possible (albeit very slow) to reach 175 through events, so I just wanted to be sure.

Seemed to be true until I started leveling my Kate Bishop and she got to 150 before my major artifact has been upgraded to lvl 10. Its still not at level 10 and she is currently sitting at 151 pl. You can keep it in your immediate inventory and that will be fine, but I recommend infusing it into the gear you like so you keep getting stronger 👍

I love this game but leveling up after 150 is the dumbest shit ever. they have the ridiculous champion level set at 375 to max. Iam shore if they made this gear attainable. In storage boxes or purchasable in game. people would still play the game. I don't like playing with people online cuz they either drop out or it takes forever and it's the dumbest way try to force your player base to level up. the slow content don't bother me but this is one factor that almost makes me want to just give it up. but your video is very insightful thanks

As it's a multiplayer focused game I don't see them changing that any time soon, just so you're aware. Also, don't even really worry about Champion levels, honestly they don't make that much of a difference so just do them passively 👍 Glad you liked the video either way

Excellent video! Question about the Elite Raid: I've done it now 4-5 times. I think the first time I do it each week, I get some number of pieces that can be (but maybe not guaranteed to be?) 3 PL higher than my current gear. I ran it a second and third time during the same week, and I get 1 piece at the end that is the same as the highest piece I have in that category (so essentially running it to hope for a better stat/perk roll). For getting pieces to the 165 cap, is the elite raid the only way to get it (plus whatever event may be running)? I see somethings listed as Superior Reward but I think those are subject to the 150 cap.

Yeah Superior Rewards only drop once a week per character so the idea is you just run it with each character once a week, any more than that and you just get the gear itself rather than level ups

Make OLT first, is easier than the raid then you go 151, 152 but when you decide to do the raid people wont leave cuz youll be 155 or whatever (once a week each hero. Good luck)

OLT & regular raid help you to get to 160, Elite Raid is 160-175. Events help you with all of it. The shortest amount of time it'd take you get from 150 to 175 is approximately 8 weeks

Man…sucks I wish they would have just made a real, Actual game. The kind You could just play yourself and have fun. The crappy thing is, is if I want to play co-op with my kids or something in my own home I basically can’t. I can play with a stranger who knows where, but I can’t play with my daughter two player. Sigh. I can’t wait till The garbage being passed off as being a game now days is no longer being made, and the trend passes away into utter obscurity Forever and ever amen

Crystal Dynamics were the wrong team to work on Marvel's Avengers I think if Square Enix did it by themselves like they did Guardians of the Galaxy it would have been very successful Crystal Dynamics are the ones that messed up Marvel's Avengers Guardians of the Galaxy is what Marvel's Avengers should be but able to switch from Heroes and I'm not saying Marvel's Avengers is a bad game but it's not great or fantastic either if I had to rate it I would give it a 7/10 just because there awesome things I love about the game especially the main campaign playing as Ms Marvel getting the Avengers back together which should have been Spider-Man but we all know that situation but yeah Marvel's Avengers could have been an easy a 9/10 game if Crystal Dynamics wasn't involved if Square Enix and insomniac games worked on Marvel's Avengers the game would have been more loved and more received with the fans but when you send out a unfinished game with bugs and glitches and adding a bunch of crap and a lot of boring side missions want people to pay actual money for skins takedowns and other things in to the game don't expect it to be successful

@@otisboy because it's a dead game do you think Crystal Dynamics care about Marvel's Avengers it's a reason why the marketplace still exist to this day because they want our money it's the only way for them to make their money there will never give us free MCU skins or takedowns and know you can get to level 175 why couldn't they keep it where it was at power level 150 beside the game is boring now there's nothing to do in the game just the same as boring side missions and when you go back to replay the main campaign or the DLCs you can't even use Spider-Man or black panther for an example let's see if I want to go through the key Bishop DLC with Spider-Man not available let's say if I I want to play as Black Panther on the hawkguy DLC not available see what I'm saying all you can do with Spider-Man is do side missions that's it Marvel's Avengers is a mess and that's the truth

@@BobDuckNWeave this game was good when it came out for like a couple of weeks or so. Now it's just a cash machine for them. Adding skins that are like 15 pounds each is ridiculous. Not listening to fans regarding adding extra new features in the game is also ignorant of them. Plus the new thor movie came out and since the dlc was more about Jane foster they didn't add her outfit since the release of the movie and instead they add these unnecessary stupid looking summer outfits? Look if you enjoy the game it's fine but honestly it's become a joke. Countless of bugs that you faced too in your livestreams that I've seen, outrageously expensive cosmetics, ignorance of the developers when it comes to listening to the fan base, matchmaking errors etc etc.

@BobDuckNWeave Hey it’s me again lol DML jay i have been grinding to get credits and got 500 credits which helped loads as it got me up too 920 and i used hero cards to get my remaining 500 credits and i did it and i have all legendary gear(Thor) from some help from your chanel and vids so thank you

Bro everytime I go to the raids or the OLT it says “insufficient numbers of players in strike team” I literally have all hero’s at 150 like I don’t understand, do I actually have to play with other ppl if so I personally think that’s dumb😑

Yes, it's forced multiplayer, both OLT's & both versions of the raid are like this
