Stuck at Home and Bored?

Doing the same routine for the last 30 years but now that I’m retired. I really enjoy going for a walk with my dog every morning. I know it doesn’t sound exciting but I really enjoy the walk with my dog so peaceful early in the morning. 🐕 😊

I am sufficiently happy just waking up ! Everything beyond that is mostly undeserving joy. Routine is fine. However...I seek new experiences. New flavors. New views...even when gazing in the exact same spot day after day. I need to read and learn. Challenged. I want to change my mind about consequential and inconsequential things. Movement and growth.

Yes some people get easily bored. Me I need a project however we need to be grateful that we are breathing, that we are alive and can still do the routines of life. As I aged my mantra now is wanting less but understands and love more especially those ppl around us.

We live to take that last breath. That thought isn't in our daily schedule, but we know it can come, so we tether it to a distant memory, surfacing every now and again but never a distraction. Our routine becomes the path of what we have enjoyed or have come to accept as normal. If you get bored, then seek, and you may find. But we usually end up back in some comfort zone, which will always be a 'pattern.'
