Whoa, too much controversy in the comments. I like the old Shaytards family (fans), where'd they go? All of these comments now just seem to be from know-it-all 10-13 year olds nitpicking every little thing. People seem to so easily forget all of the ways Shay and his family have helped us. When one thing pops up that they don't completely agree with they take it, exaggerate it, and attempt to tear apart the whole family. The Shaytards have brought smiles to people's faces for over 5 years, Shay has given motivational talks and has been an example of what he says, and for me personally they have completely changed my life. I wasn't in the best place when I found their vlogs and just by them living a life of happiness and sharing that with the world, I started to change and strive for a happy life because I saw that it was possible. Why waste your time looking for something that you can complain about when you could be taking something away from the positive examples they set. Just...chill.

Thank you to all the Shaytards! You are helping me smile again after losing two children 4 years ago at 4 and 9 years old. It is a slow and painful process for me but watching these old blogs, brings an ever increasing smile to my face. Happiness is a choice but sometimes we have to weather the storms and work towards being happy as it doesn’t easy. One of the many lessons I taught my children is to do what makes them happy in life as long as it doesn’t hurt or involve crime. Whether they chose to go to college or university or neither, as long as their decisions are based on what they want to do to be happy, i would always support them solidly. Of course, I will never see them go to college, university or see them pursue their happiness in life but I hold onto the comfort that they knew that achieving happiness in life was the ultimate riches the world has to offer. Shay when you kiss your children in a comical way, was the way I was with my children. The happy memories I can relive through you and in January when I have my ‘first child’ 4 years after my children passing- which is a miracle really as the trauma of their passing caused many autoimmune diseases about my body even causing me to be diagnosed with early menopause at 32. A rainbow baby to say the least! I can’t wait to hold my new baby and kiss him like never before. It is an on going painful journey and the days are always as painful as the first but I’m learning to adapt and not cry as much. Thank you so much for your vlogs which touch my life and I’m sure many many others’ lives. We all have a past Shay but moving forward has got to be the hardest part. I was introduced to your vlogs back in 2010 by a KZbin recommendation. I have been a loyal fan since. Collette, you are an amazingly strong person and an amazing mum. Thank you 🙏

The only bad thing about American Vlogs is that my time (GMT +2) they are posted like 11pm -12am, and that is interrupting my sleep that I should get to grow "normaly". I will start watching them in the morning when I wake up, but it is so exciting when a new vlog is posted! The Titles attract me and the Thumbnails. I sometimes stay up to like 1am so I can watch all the latest Vlogs of the Vloggers that I watch. I really appreciate what you do because watching the Vlogs is a part of my daily routine! he could probably make 30 min videos every day and people would complain about them being 30min either to long or not long enough. either way people are going to complain about how long they are. and yeah most vlogers to 5 to 12min videos not 15min plus videos. the longer the video the more stuff you have to video and more editing that has to be done, thats why sundays are one take sundays and only 5 to 10 min long.
