STUCK in DEEP SNOW and MELTDOWNS!!! , Motorhome Tour St ANTON / PETTNEU - AUSTRIA 🇦🇹

ANOTHER FAIL!! Days 19-22 at Camping PETTNEU where we have difficulty Skiing and Hiking.
We stay at ArlbergLife Camping in Pettneu which is a short bus ride into St.Anton. The facilities on site are superb as shown in the video at 12:44. It is a small popular site so you'll need to book, we couldn't get on initially so stayed in Trins for a couple of days. There is a slight noise from the Motorway but it didn't bother us.
ArlbergLife Camping in Pettneu was the only site open for St Anton skiing. The village of Pettneu is much more peaceful and scenic compared to St.Anton, there is/was another site in Pettneu but we weren't sure if it was permanently closed or just closed as it was the end of the season.
Skiing in March although good for the warmer temperatures does mean the snow can be slushy in the afternoons, this creates difficult ski conditions, the clear paths at the bottom of the valley tempt us onto the mountain for hikes but a few times now we have to run into trouble half way up the mountain so care is needed.

Haha I do that magic trick where you make your fingers go to the other hand 😂 I learned it off of Joe Pasquale. “you should see the mountains, they are covered in mist” is my new favourite Oxymoron 😂 We were in fits of giggles at the long steps 😂 great video as always 😍

Brilliant as usual, been there with Those snow conditions trying to ski, but ending up in the bar before any injuries. Then doing the same the next day, proving the point that there had been no lessons learned, or is it the not wanting to give up skier in me🧐
