I do wish the Fnaf movie built up Afton a bit more, coz he just kinda appeared and then lost in like 7 minutes and it felt underwhelming, but I also think that was done on purpose. I assume the first movie is just building for the sequels, like they mostly just wanted to explain the concept of souls possessing the animatronics so that when it happens with Afton it won't be as confusing as to how he is back. As a fan I'd give it a 6/10

For me it was OG going to be 5/10 but when I heard “I always come back” with him being springlocked I’ll give it a 6/10 if he didn’t say that, I would say 2/10 because I kinda wish they put like “Back in 1983, Afton’s oldest son” and than it would go to 1983 and than show the FNAF 4 bite and than go to 1987 for the FNAF 2 bite but nah we didn’t even see the bites not even one
