That swaddle that your best friend got you can be used for sleeping and your baby will sleep so much better in it. I don't know if being confined makes them feel like they are in the womb but in the beginning swaddle during sleep time is a life saver.

Yes they do keep them on when there little. I even used our mittens at the hospital. Very good to have.

Yes the mittens are helpful but most babies take them off over and over so they also make clothes with sort of attached mittens that don't come off which is super helpful !

I'm sure the question has been answered but you'll need the mittens in the very beginning for sure because they have sharp nails and delicate skin that rips easily. They are constantly scratching their face. In my experience that don't stay on well after a few weeks so I had to start using fitted socks to keep them from scratching.

I love love love mittens. They do pull them off. I normally dress them in a long sleeve and put the sleeve over the mitten elastic and it keeps them on nicely. Socks will get kicked off regardless. Lol. But mittens you can keep on using a long sleeve shirt.

That pacifier thing I believe that's for when they are going to try foods you can put fruit in there like watermelon or strawberries and they suck the juices out where they don't get the chunks of food.. my son's has a mesh thing so that's a new one.. I'm a mom of 2.. I have a 7 yr old daughter and a 21 month old son.. those mittens always fell off my kids hands lol or made them mad by wearing them lol

those are used to introduce foods! you put like frozen bananas or something like that and it comes out slowly throw the holes! :) it also helps with teething!

Babies tend to put there hands in there mouth alot so it can protect them from germs..an they scratch there faces. Their Nails grows pretty fast mittens can be very helpful for these reasons.

We didn't use mittens because babies learn by touching stuff and also their face so we just kept their nails short because they needed to be able to touch stuff

Yes the mittens are really good to use because of there nails and also when there newborns they don't have control of there hands to they poke them selfs a lot

My baby needed the mittens for her awful eczema☹️ they didn’t fall off most of the time and she never tried to take them off so it didn’t bother me

You do use the mittens but not to many I basically bought 1 pack of 4 and that was enough... They make the baby detergent because babies have sensitive skin.. The diaper pails don't always work because the plastic retains the stinky smell sometimes... I never used it for any of my 3 babies I just threw it in the trash or tie it in a plastic grocery bag and throw it out..
