Student Council Mod - 20s Mode | Yandere Simulator 2023

I will not be updating this mod, ever. It comes as it is, if it's broken in newer builds, don't ask me to fix it, I no longer support this game and it's developer. The original mod was 20s mode only, but the same mod and links are linked in both videos, because I made 80s council work in 80s mode and 20s council in 20s mode. The description has a link to the mod, a video on how to install it, or instead a link with the mod already installed to the March 15 2023 build. As stated in the description of both videos, the unnecessary physics you have seen in either video are no longer present in the mod (V3). If you just comment "it doesn't work" or "help pls this doesn't work" or "bruh bad mod it don't work", then there is no helping you. I've tested this mod countless times, it works. If it's not working for you then please learn how to troubleshoot. ======================================== For you technical pose mod "I'm gonna cancel wulfy cause he writes bad commands" geeks, the beginning saying "much better cutscene files than it had before".. if you're curious, the old mod was an absolute mess. It was full of hideous 'Duplicate' commands and a disastrous wall of 'Destroy' commands that both ran every time you swapped council members, it referenced the students and teachers which means it required them to be alive to get their children objects, the council hair models were renamed at some point, running the same transformation twice sometimes caused issues, the pepper spray audio command used one too many arguments.. Now, in the update, the StudentChan script is referenced for children objects instead (which means it works in 80s mode too), it doesn't duplicate them any more than just once, they're only toggled on/off after that, and instead of duplicating hairs from students, the HairToYan2 command is used, which doesn't require the hair to be active in the scene at all. The hair model refnames are of course fixed, running a cutscene twice won't have consequences (since duplicates never run more than once), and the extra argument on the pepper spray audio was removed.

This mod is honestly very cool, even though it might not have that many benefits, I'm still happy to play as a council member. My favorite part about this mod is how Ayano has an armband, I've seen a mod(its still in the making) and it doesn't have one, its a good mod, but the no armband thing kinda weirds me out. This mod is definitely a good mod to play while waiting for Yan-Dev to finish making YanSim.

I don't think this really needs an entire video dedicated to how to install it. It really is extremely simple. You need to install Pose Mod first (follow kgftbz's video, my video, or anyone's video), then you need to merge the contents of the "StreamingAssets" folder from my mod, with the "StreamingAssets" folder inside your game folder.

Im new to this things of downloading stuff and ut in a game and english isnt my first language so there are some words that I still dont understand. For example I didnt get it when your note said to merge the streamingassets with the forlders.

not ideal the z for azerty (used for move so won't work) users but what the heck it's still amazing and maybe that is changeable but could because of a tiny unnoticable mistake ruin the cutscene

@thatonemakomerman Completely valid point! My apologies for not thinking of the other layouts. I'll add a note to the Instructions.txt, but if you'd like to change a keybind, open Cutscenes/SCMod2023/InitializeMod.txt and you can change all of the key assignments from lines 11 to 20. 💜

@ceceline5963 I did not say it was impossible. I specifically said "Or else the other stabbing weapons would also act like spray". I know how to use YanReplaceAnim, which would be effective at swapping her single-handed weapon stabbing animation with the pepper spraying animation, but the problem that would cause is that the screwdriver, knife, ritual knife, and any other single-handed weapons like that, would then all also use the pepper spraying animation. Unless PoseMod has gotten so complex that you can replace each of the single-handed weapon's killing animations separately, then it's best not to do it

Adding Megami wouldn't be difficult, to be honest, as I have her textures. I just don't know how to add her hair without using bundles.. I don't know her hair refname either, what animations she should use, and she wouldn't have any voice lines for the actions too 😭

How tf do people break this mod so badly. No matter how many times I install it (which I have installed it and pose mod over fresh extracts of Yandere Simulator EIGHT FRIGGIN TIMES NOW), it works PERFECTLY and as FLAWLESSLY as it was created, but I cannot help but look through Discord(s) and see people screaming about how characters are bald, animations aren't working, students are missing, the characters are using the wrong personas, the characters are using the wrong animations... WHAT ARE YALL DOING!???!??!

When playing as student council Ayano the other student councils you should make them not push Ayano or send her to the counselor

I do believe that PolLuxe may make a complete version of the student council mod. I am unsure when it releases, if it is released, or if it will release. All I know is it includes many perks about joining the Student Council. PolLuxe's video shows all of the benefits and disadvantages.

I don’t know why, but my F1-F12 keys on keyboard don’t work in games… Is there an option that you could modify the mod for the characters to be activated on keys for example X,Y,G etc. I would be very happy to have the modified like this because I can’t activate the characters but still want to play the mod. Btw. This mod is great work, you should be proud ❤

And as mentioned in the instructions text file there is indeed a way to change the keys. You can change the keys for 20s mode in "Cutscenes/SCMod2023/20sMode/Initialize20sMode.txt" and you can change the keys for 80s mode in "Cutscenes/SCMod2023/80sMode/Initialize80sMode.txt"!

If you go to `StreamingAssets/PoseMod/Cutscenes/ModScript` and open "SchoolScene.txt", you can remove Line #5 and none of the mod will be run at all.

Guys, don't download it if you have oc in Yandere Simulator, the file will be damaged like it happened to me and I didn't manage to copy my oc file and everything was deleted, the mod is good but if you have oc don't download it because you will lose your oc

This only would happen if your PC for whatever reason chooses to overwrite folders rather than merge folders. For the majority of people, this issue would not happen. None of the folders or files would replace your other mods unless your file system overwrites the folders entirely.

I'd add it if I could, but unfortunately if it were possible with PoseMod, it'd be way too complex for me. The script that makes students push Ayano is unique to the students and there's no easy way to recreate it with pose mod, especially with it's features being mostly cosmetic. 😭

Line 7 of PoseMod/Cutscnes/SCMod2023/InitializeMod has this command: Activate:YandereShoePrompt:false It disables the triggers inside of the doors that changes your shoes (your entire body texture) upon entering or exiting, if that is no longer working, the game's developer may have renamed the prompt. Not sure as I don't support/play this game anymore, so this mod may only work with prior builds.

I can't be of much help, you have to troubleshoot whatever's happened on your end. You need to make sure you successfully installed PoseMod (and that it works), and then merge the contents of the StreamingAssets folder from the mod, with the StreamingAssets folder of the game. Allow files to be replaced as there are 2 files that are required to make the mod automatically start when the school scene loads. If your hotkeys (F1 - F6) aren't doing anything and you're playing on a laptop, hold the blue "Fn" key while pressing F1 - F6. Apart from that there isn't any other advice I can give. If your computer is completely overwriting folders when you try to merge them, then you'll want to place files in manually.

all you need to do is get the streaming assets folder from the SCMOD folder, and drag it into the YandereSimulator_Data folder and replace files in the destination, then it should work.

PoseMod is completely safe and is regularly used by the entire modding community. If any Anti Virus flags it, it's because PoseMod injects itself into another application in order to manipulate it's code, and most AVs expect that to be bad behavior. You're good.

It's not an injection, it's a mod. If you've installed PoseMod and this mod correctly and pressing F1 doesn't work, but the text at the top of the screen shows up at the start of the day, that's how you know the mod is working. You may need to find, press, and hold a blue "Fn" key on your keyboard when pressing the F keys to use them as function keys!
