Student grazed by bullet after exchange of gunfire outside Washington DC high school

A bullet that went through a Dunbar High School classroom window grazed a 17-year-old student after a shootout outside the school in Northwest D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
MPD officers responded to the sounds of gunshots that occurred outside the school on N St. NW just before 10 a.m.
Their investigation revealed that a vehicle traveling the wrong way in the 1200 block of Kirby Street Northwest drove up and "there was a series of gunshots followed by some more gunshots," according to Leslie Parsons, MPD assistant chief.
