As a former dorm employee: please, just please do not smoke in the rooms. If you do, someone has to actually brief the fire department about it and deal with a whole bunch of people evacuating. As you can imagine it’s not the nicest thing to do in the middle of a graveyard shift. Also remember about other locators. Would you like to be woken up by a fire alarm, drag your ass downstairs to the assembly point only to find out that someone was smoking in the no. 45 room bathroom? And then when an actual fire breaks out half of people will ignore the alarm, because it’s third time this year.
