Student Researches Ancient Greek Mythology Examining Past and Present Through Tiresias

At Hampshire College, every student completes a "Div III," a yearlong, advanced study project, similar to a master’s thesis. Basil Perkins 21F studied Tiresias, the trans prophet from ancient Greek/Roman mythology, as a means of finding kinship connections with the ancient world and challenging empire in the present.
