This is the most incredible KZbin instructing channels to ever exist. I have been on the brink of so many mental breakdowns, and every time I turn to the Organic Chemistry tutor. This channel has saved my sanity, my grades, and my future too many times to count. Thank you so much for everything you do. You are doing a great service to the world by making these silly little videos. Thank you.

Wow! Just wow! You explained this very well. You broke it down and explained the fundamentals, which increased my understanding of this subject so much. You did this all in 17 minutes while my professor just talks too much about theorems in an hour and 15 minutes and doesn't go over example problems too often. You are the best.

When you divide alpha in 2, isn't that a two tailed test? Why do you say that this is a one tailed test?

You're right, if you overlook that error it works out
@shreya4464 жыл бұрын
yes exactly

No man, two tail test is basically for hypothesis testing when we assume that the man is not equal to any value i.e., it can be less, or more

Is it correct to say that regardless if the test to be employed is a 1-or 2-tailed test, the EBM will always employ alpha/2 in determining the value to be located on the t-table?
@omoyeletemitope21103 жыл бұрын
Pls solve this for me In a random sampling of 600 students selected in a school, It was observed that 420 have a fan in their hostels. Construct a confidence interval at 95% for the entire students that does not own a fan
@I_am_harshit4 жыл бұрын
@8:00 you making confidence interval with 97.5% of confidence and not at 95%. if you are taking 1 one tail alpha, then confidence level is also 1 tail. And 1 tail alpha 0.025 correspond to 97.5% one tail confidence. Please correct me if i am wrong.

Am greatful for the lesson Why do we use n-1 while finding the standard deviation???
@pakarmyisizindabad62062 жыл бұрын
I know you have passed your degree, but replying for those who will have the same question, when we are dealing with sample, we take 'n', and when dealing with population, we take (n-1), here the whole class is of 10 students, and we are dealing them, so this is population, if we take a sample of 4 students from whole class of 10, it'll be sample.
