I came in from the anime and watched some clips from people playing the game. I have to say that I think Hoshino wins out as a character because she has the most defined and nuanced one in Abydos. She got it all; the carefree personality, the tragic backstory, the badass factor as a close combat specialist, and of all the characters in Abydos she has the scariest reputation. It says a lot when even my beloved Hinature is highkey terrified of her.
