People love to hate on the DAO trigger I bought the gun for the DAO trigger it bothers me when people say the trigger sucks no it's just a different action that's not for you.

Got 2,000 rounds through my CPX2. I totally wore out the recoil spring. Its slow to return to battery when it gets weak. I like it. Small, fun to shoot, bucks like a bronco. The only bad part is I bought two extra magazines so now I have 4. Only 2 are perfect. The other two work. With the new recoil spring I bet it runs another 2,000. (my 1911 9mm shoots like a Cadillac)

I picked-up the DVG-1 a few days ago and shot it at the range today. I was impressed with how accurate the gun was at 7 yards. The only issue are the magazines, which fit loose and pinches your skin when you fire it. In addition, out of the 2 mags provided with the gun 1 mag failed completely it would not feed the ammo after the 1st round was fired. All in all, for $300 bucks I feel fairly confident about the reliability of the gun but make sure you check your magazines.

I contacted SCCY and they sent me 2 replacement magazines and the replacements fit tolerance were much improved and no longer fit loose. I'm good now. Thanks.

My bid just won a factory new SCCY CPX-2 RD and I have been wanting to try a red dot. I got it for under $200 and I think I got a pretty good deal. I can hardly wait to get it in and out to the range 😁. Thanks for the video and keep shooting.

The ten round mags are difficult to load by hand new , after about 7 they get extremely hard to load. Finally got 8 in each , and let them set overnight, and got a 9th one in today. Maybe the 10th one will go in eventually.... loaded a lot of mags in my life, I believe these are the stiffest!

Some of their mags have a bent spring which causes binding on the follower. Send it back or just bend the spring yourself so the follower slides smoothly 👍

I have a issue with my new DVG1 = when I Re- assemble - the Slide won't return All the way Back to re insert the Takedown pin- I have force the slide back -- to ge the Pin in ...

Mine did that as well. I couldn't get my slide to go back the full length to engage the slide release. I don't know what I did but it finally went back together. Took it out to the range and dumped 20 rounds and then pulled it apart and it went back together flawlessly.

The manufacturer specifically states not to use aluminum, steel case or reloads and yet there you go with an aluminum case. Do you think you know more than the designer of the pistol?

Another reviewer i watched said it stands for David vs. Goliath. Not sure how true but it helps me remember the letters.

VERY disappointing! I bought the DVG1 with great hopes and when I got it I thought I found the perfect CCW! It appeared very refined for its price and fit perfectly in my hand with the mag extension and IWB at the 4 O'clock position. Problem was first after firing about 100rds, the internal buffer spring broke. I contacted SCCY and they sent one out and I had it within 1 week. I then fired it two more times at the range and just shooting 400+rds total, the trigger mechanism broke! I had to send it into SCCY for work and it cost me $60/round trip postage that you get from SCCY. I paid $200 for the pistol, but I find it BS that just over 400rds and two major failures AND having to pay $$$ for postage to FIX it? I am SO disappointed as I REALLY wanted to like this gun. After getting it back I threw it in my gun safe where it will sit as I DO NOT feel confident using it as my CCW. I'll keep carrying my SW Bodyguard .380 as I KNOW it works!!!! BUYER OF SCCY DVG1 BEWARE!!!

They have a lifetime warranty so if there is ever any problem they will fix you up. Only problems I've ever heard of with these are the mags but I've had problems with many different brand mags with my other guns. Their customer service is like a sore d*ck...hard to beat
