Students claim to be 'melting' from heat at Holly Springs High School

I'm a graduate of Holly Springs High School and this has been going on since the school opened. I graduated in 2010 from 2006 till graduation unless it was Winter it was always immensely hot. We students would always ask could you please turn up the air and they would say it is controlled by Wake County and they could do nothing. I am so happy that a new wave of students are actually being heard.

Would advise to bring a fan of some type during the summer when the AC doesn't work. Setting up a fan is pretty much the only thing teachers can do to remedy the problem, since no one at the school has control of the thermostat. Why would someone who works for the county think they can control the thermostat better than school officials?

I am currently a Sophomore in Holly Springs High School uhhh well
