Students Sell Locally Grown Produce During Farmer Market Event
Over 300 students gathered at the Clark County Government Center to sell fresh produce grown in over 33 school gardens across the district.
Students become 'farmpreneurs' where they take the financial literacy skills they learned while growing food to create and carry out their business plans at the event.
The event also showcased handmade crafts, with all proceeds going back to support and sustain the schools’ garden programs.
